Spring Fly Fishing in Ontario This video was made in early June, when the mayfly hatches are thick and the stoneflies are laying eggs late in the afternoon.  The video captures some of southern Ontario’s great dry fly fishing opportunities. Filmed on a tributary of the Saugeen river in southern Ontario, the brown trout were very willing to come to the surface for a well presented fly. Brookies were also willing to show their faces too!
